Dallas had six picks overall, two in the first round. Dallas used the 22nd overall pick on Arkansas running back Felix Jones and the 25th overall selection on South Florida cornerback Mike Jenkins. Tight end Martellus Bennett was taken in the second round (61st overall).

Bennett, who was the third player taken by Dallas in 2008 but struggled to get playing time behind Jason Witten, was a first round pick (16th by Arizona) in the do over.
With their 25th pick in the do over, the Cowboys took LSU defensive tackle Glenn Dorsey, who was taken fifth overall in the actual draft that year.
Quarterbacks Matt Ryan and Joe Flacco were the top two players taken in the re do, Ryan by Miami and Flacco by the Rams.
Former Texas running back Jamaal Charles, whom the Kansas City Chiefs scooped up in the third round in the actual draft, was the fourth player taken in the re do.
